Blondell, Miller & Schuler has enjoyed a recent run of large settlements for our clients. In the last several weeks alone, three of our clients have come away with recoveries of over $100,000. These cases have one thing in common; they were all in suit and deep into litigation. This matters. Dave said that he was in the right lane of three going the speed limit when the defendant driver pulled out of a parking lot causing him to rearend the Defendant. The Defendant said that she was in the center lane, had never been in a parking lot, and was stopped at a red light when Dave hit her.
Our lawyers filed suit in this matter and we had the opportunity to take the deposition of both our client and defendant, and we brought receipts. The photographs taken at the scene of the accident, Google Maps photographs of the accident scene and the defendant’s own testimony made it clear that Dave’s story was the more believable of the two. Within weeks of the deposition, the case settled for $200,000.
Don’t trust your case to a lawyer who will take a settlement before putting your case in to suit. Trust your case to a lawyer who is not afraid to put in hard work and not afraid to go to court.
